Studio Ditte works in an old classroom in Breda. Several companies have their offices in this beautiful old school building. It is an inspiring environment to work in: high ceilings, large high windows overlooking beautiful trees, and birds looking curiously toward us. As soon as we arrive in the morning, we open the windows for some fresh air, and we drink a cup of tea.
We usually start the day with a short talk about what has to be done. Each of us has a large white desk in the middle of the room, and there are high shelves against the walls. In these shelves we keep things we have collected over the years, from ribbons and fabrics, to prototypes and stuff for photography. And of course, all the walls are decorated with our wallpaper!
Besides working at the studio, we often go out to look for inspiring things at flea markets and second-hand shops.
